About Me
Hi, my name is Dave. By finding this site, you can see I am an avid bottle cap (crowncap) collector and maybe you share the same interest. I have collected most everything over the years, but have narrowed my collecting addiction to just crowncaps, vintage Star Wars action figures (1977-1985), and Ken Griffey Jr. baseball cards. I also love taking photos of graffiti.
I have been collecting crowncaps for many years and have my daughter excited about the hobby too. My wife says my collecting of crowncaps is hoarding trash - ha! I primarily collect US crowncaps focusing mainly on beer crowncaps. I do collect US soda and some foreign crowncaps, but I am very selective in the soda and foreign crowncaps I trade for. I am a huge fan of US microbrew beer and those are my favorite crowncaps to collect of all. Craft beer and microbrews are all the rage at this time, and I am trying to monopolize on that and collect as many as I can. I am also a fan of home brewer crowncaps. Not many home brewers bottle their beers with personalized crowncaps, but you can find some out there that do - you just have to look a little harder. Some collectors think home brewer crowncaps are not "real" crowncaps - I 100% disagree! Those gems are some of my favorites to collect and will prove to be very rare at some point. I also enjoy collecting Coca-Cola crowncaps worldwide.
I am a member of the Crowncap Collector's Society International, member # 611 and a member of Crown Caps Info (CC.I), member # 1723. I have met, networked, and organized trades with many fantastic collectors through these outlets. If you are not a member of either, I recommend you consider joining both. Members of each of these fine organizations can be trusted to trade with. You can follow the links from my Links page to each and join from there.

Little Treasures
One of my daughter and I's favorite things to do is to get a package of crowncaps in the mail. I enjoy seeing her excitement. It reminds me of when I was a young collector. We both love adding to our collections and have fun discussing our new treasures. My daughter claims her collection will surpass mine......one day, maybe. : )
The photo at left shows my daughter opening a package of crowncaps from collector Bruno Rosa (Portugal). My daughter says thanks for the trade Bruno !
The photo above is a gold mine I found while travelling abroad in Montreal, Canada. Yes, I did fill the bag I had with me and my pockets!
